We spoke with Ben McCoy whom is a dear friend of VideoSellsRealEstate and also an attendee of The Art of Video Marketing six month course. Ben is a seasoned Real Estate Agent with Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty and one of the many things Ben has learned in the Real Estate Industry is you have to become your own marketer. The Art of Video Marketing has given Ben the guidance on filming his own content and learning to edit, gives him the advantage at being a Top Producing Real Estate Agent.

“One question I like to ask my guest is, “How did they get involved in the Real Estate Industry?”

It’s always interesting to hear the responses being a former Pre-Med Student turned Real Estate Agent turned Videographer. I too was looking for a career change that would allow me the flexibility to be with my family and make my own schedule. It seldomly isn’t a surprise when I hear drastic changes in career. Prior to entering into the Real Estate Industry, Ben has had past experiences within his family and his wife’s family who are all in the industry from investing, commercial and residential Real Estate. Ben has an extensive background in project management, logistics management, IT design and administration.

With a pletory of skill sets Ben surely is doing his best as becoming a top producing agent. Passionate for what he does is what drives him in being an ethical agent, which can be rare in an industry that is very competitive. Being a “Change-maker” with his clients can hold a high altitude of classifications. Seeing the change in his clients trajectory as much as home ownership goes, helping them get into their dream home is what continually has a positive impact on his life. Determined and committed in all that he does as an agent and mentor translates to his brand and image.

Success is relative, however, Ben has attributes his success to a mentor program that Pacific Sotheyby’s provided to him when he was newly licensed back in 2014. His completion of the mentor program showed great success that Ben was offered a position as Mentor Director for the Carlsbad Pacific Sotheby’s Office. A position that he has held for over a year, on top of continuing his realtor responsibilities, to say the least Ben is busy.

Ben is a local native to San Diego and lives in Carlsbad, CA with his wife and two daughters.
