My name is Felisa Schlosser, and I have been helping homeowners buy homes over the last 13 years, and every one has meant something special to me. Not only am I helping these families become homeowners but I’m helping them build wealth and set themselves up for retirement. It’s incredibly gratifying work.
Our story begins at the time when we had just purchased our first home and I was told that Radio Carbon laboratory, where I was working, was being shut down. We had just had a great experience with our Mortgage Broker and Realtor, and it had crossed my mind, that mortgage lending would be a perfect fit for me. I was nervous to mention to my husband, but when I did, he said he was thinking the same thing. And that’s how it all started…
My work philosophy is to be transparent throughout the entire process. Address potential issues upfront, and have tons of communication, from start to finish. And to make it as easy as possible for my clients and REALTOR partners. And close on time, every time.
Our team is special, and I am proud of what we have built. We have a highly-skilled underwriting and processing team- the best I have seen in my 13 years. Jeehae, our production assistant who is great with all of the various guidelines, and keeping things in check and on their timeframes. She’s lovely to work with, and our clients rave about her. Eric works on the business development side; organizes events, designs marketing material and is making sure our Realtor partners have what they need to be successful.
I worked at a large mortgage company before coming to JMJ, and it has been a night and day difference. What I love about working for a small company, is having direct access to the decision makers. Getting immediate responses, which is critical when dealing with a tricky client or loan, and not getting caught up in a queue with 900 other loan officers. We understand that our clients may need information or pre-approval letters on weekends or after hours and are always available to help them. You’re not going to get that from a big bank or a small credit union.
Our goal is to educate our clients, be transparent throughout the process, have very fast turn times and make sure we make the process as stress free as possible for all parties involved. It’s our mission and our responsibility.
