Responsibilities - Manage the scheduling and dispatching of saltwater trucks, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries in accordance with operational needs and DOT regulations. - Utilize transportation management systems (TMS), vehicle dispatch software, and GIS tools to optimize routing, monitor fleet movements, and improve overall efficiency. - Coordinate with internal teams, drivers, suppliers, and clients through multi-line phone systems and internal communication channels to relay instructions clearly and promptly. - Maintain accurate data entry for all dispatch activities, including freight details, shipping and receiving logs, and compliance documentation. - Monitor road transportation operations to ensure adherence to safety standards, DOT regulations, and company policies. - Conduct analysis of logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvements in supply chain and transportation planning. - Handle phone call management professionally with excellent phone etiquette, providing exceptional customer service while addressing inquiries or resolving issues related to freight or vehicle dispatching. - Skills - Strong proficiency in GIS, GPS navigation tools, Microsoft Office suite, and transportation management systems such as Samsara - Knowledge of road transportation operations, fleet management, and freight logistics within the oilfield industry. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Effective communication skills for internal coordination, customer service interactions, and phone call management using multi-line phone systems. - Analysis skills for evaluating transportation data to enhance dispatching strategies and supply chain workflows. - Familiarity with DOT regulations governing vehicle operation, safety standards, and compliance documentation. - Ability to perform data entry accurately while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
