This entry-level role requires an understanding of final file production/troubleshooting for print and digital. Our candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment with fast deadlines while still possessing the ability to balance an overabundance of information with clean design. The designer will be responsible for changes, preflighting for print, and keeping clients' advertising to our high standard, maintaining each of their distinct brand identities. Also required is an expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software – specifically InDesign. We are looking for someone who thrives in an open and fast-paced environment, is willing to go the extra mile when needed, and can roll with shifting prioritiesJob ResponsibilitiesWork with Design & Production teams to make edits for both print and digital projectsAdhere to set print specifications for varying types of print productsPrepare thorough and accurate files for print/digitalManage a high-volume workloadQualificationsExpertise in InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator. After Effects is helpfulExpert in core design principles (typography, color, grids, etc.)Flexibility to figure things out while processes are being defined and redefinedComfortable with digital file management and server navigationFamiliarity with various production techniques for both print and digitalBasic understanding of digital advertising (Facebook, Google, Instagram, Eblasts, etc.)
