On this episode of The Real Podcast powered by FB Live, we welcomed one of Southern California’s most successful luxury real estate agents. John Cain started his real estate career back in 2004 and has since been named “Top Real Estate Agent” by  Orange Coast Magazine among other accolades. John let us in on a couple of his secrets to success.

Here are some excerpts on the interview: 

David: John is a successful luxury Real Estate Agent based out of Orange County with a lot of great knowledge he’s going to share with us today. John could you give us a little summary of who you are

John: Absolutely, well thank you again, David. I’m a Real Estate Broker based out of Newport Beach. I run my own team, Cain Group out of Pacific Sotheby’s office. I’ve been in the business for fifteen years, I have a small team but I’ve been fortunate to be one of the ‘Top Producing Real Estate Agents’ here in Orange County for the past several years. I’m very happy and fortunate to have the success.

David: Very cool! What got you into Real Estate?

John: It’s crazy, man. I never thought I would be a luxury Real Estate Agent. The year that I graduated from College back in 2004, my parents decided to relocate from the house that I grew up in, to the coast. From the Inland Empire to the Coast, they uprooted us and in that process they introduced me to the Real Estate Agent. The Agent then recruited me to the business, she extended an opportunity to me while I was still figuring things out post college. The rest is history, kind of a while ride in the last fifteen years but I couldn’t be more thankful.

David: Wow! That’s a great story. So, you were born and raised in California?

John: Born and raised in California, Inland Empire, Upland specifically. Went to school at Pepperdine. I was there for four years and I graduated with an Economics Degree and then found myself in Huntington Beach shortly after college and then started my Real Estate Career.

David: Very cool! So, fun fact! I am also from the Inland Empire and now I am on the coast here in Carlsbad, CA.

John: Very Cool,nice weather and it’s a better climate.

David: Yeah, I grew up in Riverside and I just fell in love with San Diego specifically Carlsbad and that’s where my wife and two kids live. Super Blessed!

John: Love it down there, it’s a beautiful spot.
